First Time's a Charm

We had a little time in the afternoon on Monday so we headed out to Greg's parents' house to try Nelson on the wakeboard again. We were interrupted in our attempts last week because of engine problems. It was nice this week because there were hardly any boats out, unlike last week when everybody and their dog (well at least our dog) were out on the lake. We shortened the rope so he was just a few feet off the back and I sat facing him. He came up out of the water on the first try just like an old pro. WOW!! Can you say "Proud parents!!" Wakeboarding is definitely his style. We showed off his talent to the grandparents when they got home. After about ten times up, he was freezing and tired. He slept like a rock when we got home. We look forward to seeing him behind the boat many more times over the coming weeks. Way to go Nelson!!

Update: We have been out to the lake many times this summer to let Nelson practice on the wake board. He has really got the hang of it now. It is so fun to watch him!!
